The World Expo will be held in Osaka, in Japan, from 13 April to 13 October 2025.

The pavilion that Monaco will present at the Expo, whose theme is "Take Care of Wonder", symbolises Monaco’s efforts, both at home and abroad, to protect the environment.

Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan

Introduction

Pavillon Monaco, which leads the Principality of Monaco’s participation in World Expo events, is keen to raise visitors’ awareness of environmental issues through immersive experiences.

Surrounded by a garden that draws inspiration from Japanese and Mediterranean themes, the buildings invite each of us to recognise that taking care of nature is the same as taking care of ourselves, and that by taking care of the fragile wonders of our planet, we are helping to ensure the survival of the human species.

The Pavilion’s belvedere will also accommodate a wine bar, offering a unique experience with a selection of wines from the Cellars of the Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo. This outstanding location will deliver an immersive journey through the world of oenology.

As we await the opening of Expo 2025 Osaka, follow the preparations at Monaco Pavilion on our socials!

To evoke the Mediterranean, means summoning up the extraordinary history of the many great civilisations shaped on its shores over the centuries. But it also means facing up to its future, which is more uncertain than ever. The various pressures associated with its use, population growth, pollution and global warming are all threats to its future, global warming are all threats to its unique biodiversity and ecosystem services. This brand new immersive and interactive exhibition "Méditerranée 2050" aims to encourage visitors to the Monaco ‘s Oceanographic Museum to take a new interest in the Mediterranean and become involved in its protection, through a space-time journey to 2050.
