To evoke the Mediterranean, means summoning up the extraordinary history of the many great civilisations shaped on its shores over the centuries. But it also means facing up to its future, which is more uncertain than ever. The various pressures associated with its use, population growth, pollution and global warming are all threats to its future, global warming are all threats to its unique biodiversity and ecosystem services.This brand new immersive and interactive exhibition "Méditerranée 2050" aims to encourage visitors to the Monaco ‘s Oceanographic Museum to take a new interest in the Mediterranean and become involved in its protection, through a space-time journey to 2050.

This richly illustrated, educational and interactive exhibition tells the story of the birth and evolution of our species, Homo sapiens, and of the entire human lineage known as Hominins.It traces the journey, through long migrations, of human beings who invented tools and mastered fire, before leaving the African cradle of humanity and eventually settling, for the past approximately 10,000 years, across the entire planet. These fascinating and open-ended questions are explored in this exhibition, which is further enriched by multimedia content (interviews, 3D views of prehistoric objects, quizzes, games, etc.).Like all exhibitions by Synops editions, From Toumaï to Sapiens is aimed at a wide audience and shares scientific knowledge in an educational and engaging way. Victor Brauner, The Magical Adventure

This exhibition in tribute to Victor Brauner (1903-1966), a major figure in international surrealism, presents for the first time an exceptional private collection established in Monaco that encompasses the artist's entire body of work, from the 1920s to the 1960s, spanning painting, drawing and sculpture. Complementing over one hundred and sixty works from this collection, ten non-Western art objects that belonged to Victor Brauner are on display, loaned by the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Saint-Étienne Métropole.

Lecture scheduled on the occasion of the "CACTUS" exhibition at the New National Museum of Monaco – Villa Sauber.Curators: Marc Jeanson & Laurent Le BonLaurent Le Bon is a heritage curator who oversaw public commissions at the Ministry of Culture and Communication's Division of Visual Arts, then served from 2000 to 2010 as curator at the National Museum of Modern Art, Centre Pompidou. He has curated approximately fifty exhibitions and authored related publications, notably "Dada" at Centre Pompidou (2005–2006), "Jeff Koons Versailles" at the Palace of Versailles (2008), "Gardens" at the National Galleries of the Grand Palais (2017), "Dioramas" at the Palais de Tokyo (2017) and "Picasso. Blue and Rose" at the Musée d'Orsay (2018–2019). From 2008 to 2014, he directed Centre Pompidou-Metz, where he curated the exhibitions "Masterpieces?" and "1917". From June 2014 to July 2021, he served as president of the National Picasso Museum–Paris. On 19 July 2021, he became president of Centre Pompidou, succeeding Serge Lasvignes.

Opening of the Photo Exhibition "Heritage in Danger"
The Department of Cultural Affairs inaugurated last evening, in the presence of H.S.H. Prince Albert II, the exhibition of winners of the photography competition dedicated to 11–25 year-olds, whose theme was "Heritage in Danger", in line with the 2026 edition of European Heritage Days.
