Pavillon Monaco
Introduction
Pavillon Monaco is responsible for managing (designing, building, and operating) the Principality of Monaco's participation in World Expos and Specialised Expos under the aegis of the International Exhibitions Bureau. Overseen by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, this state-owned company has produced magnificent pavilions, such as "Monaco 360°, A World of Opportunities" for the Expo held in Dubai in 2021. Preparations are under way for Monaco's participation in the upcoming Expo 2025, held in Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
Since 2018, the Pavillon Monaco has also been tasked with managing the Meeting of the Historical Sites of the Grimaldis of Monaco, and since 2023, the Summer fete for artisans and shopkeepers from the Historical Sites of the Grimaldis of Monaco, during which former "strongholds" of the Principality gather together to present their cultural and craft heritage, alongside their culinary and musical traditions.
The "Historical Sites of the Grimaldis of Monaco Label", awarded by Pavillon Monaco, is part of the ongoing alliance between the French and Italian territories linked to the Grimaldi dynasty and the Principality of Monaco.
31 May 2023 marked the centenary of the birth of Prince Rainier III. Pavillon Monaco organised the gathering of Monegasques and residents on the Rock to mark the day with a variety of events, shows and a spectacular fireworks display.
