Introduction

The biennial Monaco Artists’ Forum is back at the Rainier III Auditorium, from Friday 8 to Thursday 14 November 2024 between 1 and 7 pm.

The event, organised by the Department of Cultural Affairs at the behest of the Prince’s Government, aims to support local artists by offering them a space in which to present their work to the public.

Over 80 artists, both amateur and professional, will present their paintings, sculpture or photography.

Every forum sees new artists bring new techniques that enrich the exhibition.

As in other years, the Public Choice Award, held from Monday 21 October to Monday 4 November on the Forum’s website: www.forumdesartistes.mc lets visitors vote for their favourite work in the exhibition.

The winning artwork will be on display at the exhibition open to the public from Friday 8 to Thursday 14 November, from 1pm to 7pm, at the Auditorium Rainier III.

Ahead of the event, head over to www.forumdesartistes.mc from 21 October to find out more about the artists taking part in the 7th Monaco Artists’ Forum!

To evoke the Mediterranean, means summoning up the extraordinary history of the many great civilisations shaped on its shores over the centuries. But it also means facing up to its future, which is more uncertain than ever. The various pressures associated with its use, population growth, pollution and global warming are all threats to its future, global warming are all threats to its unique biodiversity and ecosystem services. This brand new immersive and interactive exhibition "Méditerranée 2050" aims to encourage visitors to the Monaco ‘s Oceanographic Museum to take a new interest in the Mediterranean and become involved in its protection, through a space-time journey to 2050.
