Introduction

The MonacoPhil 2024 international philatelic exhibition, under the high patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II, will take place in Monaco from Thursday 5 to Saturday 7 December 2024.

The exhibition is recognised by the Federation of European Philatelic Associations (FEPA).

The Museum of Philately and Coinage on the Fontvieille Terraces will host an exhibition of 100 iconic rare stamps from renowned collections all over the world, including those belonging to H.S.H. Prince Albert II, H.M. King Charles III, several postal museums and globally renowned private collectors.

In a major first for the 2024 event, the themed exhibition, devoted to the stamps and postal history of the Far East, and the commercial exhibition will be held at the Conference Centre in One Monte-Carlo, an innovative district located very close to Place du Casino.

A fabulous opportunity for philatelists to enrich their collections by procuring the latest editions from the fifty or so exhibitors who will be attending the event.

Each day, from 11 am to 6 pm, internationally renowned philatelists will be presenting lectures, open to all, in the Conference Centre auditorium.

The artists who have designed or engraved the Principality’s most recent stamps will be in attendance and holding signing sessions.

There will also be engraving demonstrations.

The Stamp Issuing Office will be selling two of its planned issues for 2025, as well as three exclusive products published as limited series:

  • A presentation pack featuring the MonacoPhil 2024 collection
  • A presentation pack containing a numbered, non-perforated sheet of the series of stamps featuring the Apostles, issued by the Stamp Issuing Office in 2000, as well as a stamp celebrating the 2025 Jubilee
  • A presentation box containing a numbered poster of Charles V, including a dated collection of four stamps, all produced using intaglio

To evoke the Mediterranean, means summoning up the extraordinary history of the many great civilisations shaped on its shores over the centuries. But it also means facing up to its future, which is more uncertain than ever. The various pressures associated with its use, population growth, pollution and global warming are all threats to its future, global warming are all threats to its unique biodiversity and ecosystem services. This brand new immersive and interactive exhibition "Méditerranée 2050" aims to encourage visitors to the Monaco ‘s Oceanographic Museum to take a new interest in the Mediterranean and become involved in its protection, through a space-time journey to 2050.
