Hector Obalk casts an eye over the entirety of modern painting, in other words twentieth-century art from the impressionists to its renaissance in the early twenty-first century. He draws on a large wall of 1,000 paintings, arranged by decade, and covering the major modernist movements, featuring Monet, Seurat, Picasso, Mondrian and Leroy
