Introduction

Molières 2024 :
Best Director in a Private Theatre
: Olivier Solivérès
Best Male Newcomer: Ethan Oliel

With its themes of non-conformism, discovery and self-improvement, Dead Poets Society remains surprisingly topical 30 years after it enjoyed its enormous success at the cinema. John Keating, the charismatic teacher who employs an innovative approach to teaching, instils in his pupils the best lessons one can learn: freedom, confidence and faith in a future that is shaped by our own decisions. Led by Stéphane Friess, who delivers a brilliant interpretation of a free-spirited and dedicated teacher, alongside a fantastic cast of young actors, Dead Poets Society offers a universal lesson which has not aged at all: carpe diem!

Based on the film produced by Touchstone Pictures and written by Tom Schulman.
