With special guests Sindy Mohamed and Henri Demarquette, the Akilone Quartet continues to explore the two Viennese schools in two pioneering scores: Ludwig van Beethoven's Sixteenth Quartet, concise, clear, abundant, whose final exclamation, "Es muss sein!" inspired both Léo Ferré and Milan Kundera; and Arnold Schönberg's Transfigured Night, a symphonic poem that pushed the boundaries of chamber music.

An anthology of their melodies will be performed by two long-standing collaborators, the bass-baritone Vincent Le Texier and the pianist Ancuza Aprodu.
