Introduction

Video highlights of the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra’s tour of Japan in May 2024, conducted by the orchestra’s artistic director Kazuki Yamada, leading the Monegasque ensemble in his native country for the first time. 

From 25 May to 1 June 2024, the orchestra and its conductor, together with the Japanese pianist Mao Fujita, performed seven times in six of Japan’s leading concert halls: Osaka, Chiba, Tokyo, Nagoya, Kyoto and Yokohama.
