For nearly 40 years, Bartabas has been creating and directing shows for his two companies: the equestrian theatre company Zingaro and the Versailles Equestrian Academy.
Bartabas will discuss the creative process he uses for live performances and for writing, and will highlight the similarities and differences. He will also address the theme of artistic creativity through "Un geste vers le bas" (A Downwards Gesture) (2022), which tells the story of the artistic journey he took with Pina Bausch and the horse Micha Figa over several years.
