Music to take pride of place at Prince Pierre Foundation Spiritual Concert at Monaco Cathedral
To mark a year in which the Prince Pierre Foundation has shone a particular spotlight on the Musical Prize, a Spiritual Concert will be held on Saturday 9 November 2024 at Monaco Cathedral.
It will be performed by the Estonian vocal ensemble Vox Clamantis, conducted by Jaan-Eik Tulve.
The concert will showcase a programme of religious music comprising works by three renowned contemporary composers: Arvo Pärt, Valentin Silvestrov and Helena Tulve. In particular, audiences will have the privilege of attending the world premiere of Four Psalms by Valentin Silvestrov, a work commissioned by the Prince Pierre Foundation and dedicated to Her Royal Highness the Princess of Hanover.
