Spring holidays at Pavillon Bosio – Visual creativity with Yannick Cosso
The descendants of Dada – Visual creativity using drawing and collage techniques.

Introduction
This workshop will be an invitation to stick, tear, cut, superimpose, assemble and create a dialogue between shapes, colours and materials. Using simple graphic foundations as our starting point, we will play on the contrasts by incorporating a variety to materials to make some unique images. Work on layout and the organisation of elements will be central: how empty space coexists with filled areas, how the texture of torn paper interacts with a work in pencil. We will draw inspiration from surrealism to challenge logic and prompt the imagination. Dada techniques will be central to our practice: ripping things up, sticking in found words or images, drawing absurd connections to give rise to poetic compositions where the message, research and textures engage in dialogue with the shapes.
From 9.30am > 12.30pm – 2.00pm > 5.00pm.
At older secondary school pupils, higher education students and adults.
