Exhibition - Monaco’s architectural heritage

Introduction
This exhibition, organised by the Department of Cultural Affairs with support from SOGEDA Monaco, follows on from a photography competition for young people aged 11 to 25, on the theme of “Monaco’s architectural heritage”.
The idea is to get young people involved in protecting Monaco’s heritage and showcase the creativity of the Principality’s young people, and the project is part of the European Heritage Days 2025 programme, running under the theme of architecture.
An expert panel of judges selected 15 photographs from the entries received, paying particular attention to the artistic aspect of the young competitors’ work, as well as to their unique perspective on the architectural heritage of their city.
A youth panel made up of students from Monaco chose four winning entries from these 15 photographs. These will be on display from 6 June to 5 October 2025 on the Railings in the St Martin Gardens.
The exhibition will then travel to Strasbourg in 2026, during Monaco’s Presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.
