Design me a garden – Competition to design flower beds – Call for participants

The Department of Cultural Affairs and the Department of Urban Amenities are launching "Design me a garden", a competition to design flower beds that will take place on 26 April 2025 in the Principality.

On the theme "A journey into the heart of art", participants will be invited to decorate a flower bed created in one of the city’s neighbourhoods, drawing inspiration from renowned artists or artistic trends, or recreating famous works of art using flowers, plants and decorative items.

They will receive guidance from a member of the Department of Urban Amenities team, who will provide them with the plants and tools needed to bring their design to life.

Anyone aged 10 years or over and a resident of Monaco can register to take part in the competition, which is aimed at beginners and experienced gardeners alike.

This project is part of the "Bring nature back to the city" policy launched by the Prince's Government of Monaco and implemented by the Department of Urban Amenities. 

Register before 20 March 2025 by completing the online registration form. Registration forms can also be collected from Direction des Affaires Culturelles (Department of Cultural Affairs), 4 bd des Moulins – 98000 Monaco.
