Conversation scheduled as part of the "Pasolini in Chiaroscuro" exhibition at Villa Sauber from 29 March to 29 September 2024 (Curator: Guillaume de Sardes).

Bartolomeo Pietromarchi is a contemporary art critic, exhibition curator and artistic director. He leads several museums and foundations, including MAXXI, MAXXI L’Aquila and MACRO, and was the curator of the Italian pavilion at the Venice Biennale. He has also curated solo exhibitions of Italian and international artists such as Shirin Neshat, Mario Merz, Enzo Cucchi and Giulio Paolini, as well as group exhibitions such as "Pier Paolo Pasolini. Tutto è santo" (Palazzo delle Esposizioni, Rome). He was also part of the Italian pavilion at the Venice Biennale. He is a lecturer at IULM in Milan, a guest lecturer at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts (China)  and author of several essays, notably in the catalogue for the “Pasolini in Chiaroscuro” exhibition.
