Collaboration between the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco and the Serralves Foundation on the artist Francisco Tropa
The exhibition "Francisco Tropa, Paésine" will open on Friday 6 December at the Villa Paloma.
This solo exhibition is being organised in partnership with the Serralves Foundation in Porto, which is showing "ⒶMO-TE", another aspect of Francisco Tropa’s work at the same time. A joint publication covering both exhibitions will be released in January 2025.

On Friday 9 November at 11 am, at the Serralves Foundation, Francisco Tropa, Célia Bernasconi (curator of the "Paésine" exhibition and Chief Curator at the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco), Ricardo Nicolau (curator of the "ⒶMO-TE" exhibition), Simone Menegoi (essayist, who has long been an interpreter of Francisco Tropa’s work and has authored several texts for the publication) and Kathleen Campagnolo (responsible for managing Francisco Tropa’s archives in preparation for the exhibition and author of the descriptive notes for each work in the catalogue) will discuss the artist’s practice and the perspectives that guided the design of the Porto and Monaco exhibitions.
