Ravel & Messiaen
2025 Monte-Carlo Spring Arts Festival concludes without ending on two works that aspire to eternity and timelessness: Maurice Ravel’s Trio and Olivier Messiaen’s dizzying Quatuor pour la fin du Temps. For this final climax in our tribute to Pierre Boulez, the talented youth of Trio Pantoum and Ann Lepage serve as a reminder that the conductor and composer was above all concerned with passing on the torch to future generations.
