After making a lasting impression at the 2023 edition of the Spring Arts Festival, Thomas Ospital has been invited back for what promises to be an unforgettable recital: a line-up of legendary organists, from Johann Sebastian Bach to Olivier Messiaen and Franz Liszt, which Ospital merges with Volumina as György Ligeti moves away from tradition, revolutionising the instrument.

With special guests Sindy Mohamed and Henri Demarquette, the Akilone Quartet continues to explore the two Viennese schools in two pioneering scores: Ludwig van Beethoven's Sixteenth Quartet, concise, clear, abundant, whose final exclamation, "Es muss sein!" inspired both Léo Ferré and Milan Kundera; and Arnold Schönberg's Transfigured Night, a symphonic poem that pushed the boundaries of chamber music.
