Composer, conductor, and institution-builder, Pierre Boulez was also a virtuoso of controversy. This head-to-head concert by the Linea Ensemble brings together two composers, one of whom was criticised by Boulez and the other who criticised him: André Jolivet (whose talent and merit Boulez would nevertheless recognise) and Raphaël Cendo, an artist who pushes boundaries and is a famous advocate of saturation in music.
