Monte-Carlo Festival
Introduction
The Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival is an annual festival that was established in 1974 by Prince Rainier III. It is held each January in Monaco. The Festival features a selection of the best circus acts from all around the world and awards gold, silver and bronze "Clowns" as part of a gala-style event.
Today, the Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival continues thanks to the involvement of H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie. She is supported in her role as President by Mr. Urz Pils, who has served as artistic director and general manager since 2001.
