[COMPETITION] Design me a garden

This initiative aims to improve urban aesthetics and foster an attractive environment for residents by involving them in this process. 

The competition is open to all, on a registration basis and subject to availability, and is aimed at both beginners and experienced gardeners resident in Monaco.

Participants must be available on the following dates:

• Saturday 7 March 2026 for an information meeting at the Saint-Laurent d'Eze nursery
• Saturday 28 March 2026 for the allocation and creation of flower beds

For this edition, the theme is "Primary colours". Participants will be invited to freely design their flower bed using blue, yellow and red colours.

Participants will maintain their own flower bed until the prize-giving ceremony. They will thus have the pleasure of seeing their work evolve over the weeks, as will residents and visitors to the Principality who will be able to enjoy this enhancement of the city's green spaces.

In June, a prize-giving ceremony will reward participants' creativity and their commitment to a more pleasant and sustainable urban environment.

This project is part of the "Bringing nature back to the city" policy initiated by the Prince's Government of Monaco and implemented by the Department of Urban Amenities.

Registration by 27 February 2026 by completing the registration form online oor by collecting it from the Department of Cultural Affairs (4, Boulevard des Moulins – 98000 Monaco).
