2025 Annual Meeting of the EPA Governing Board on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe

This pan-European programme, which the Principality joined in 2013, is an initiative that promotes the heritage and culture common to European countries. 48 heritage routes promote intercultural dialogue, such as educational exchanges, and highlight varied themes, such as history, art, religion, architecture and traditions.

Through this programme, the fundamental values of the Council of Europe are implemented: human rights, democracy, cultural diversity and identity, exchanges and mutual enrichment.

During the meeting of the Steering Committee, Monaco took part in the evaluation process for networks applying for certification as a "Cultural Route of the Council of Europe". Furthermore, this visit was an opportunity to exchange with other countries and to share best practices, in particular in terms of promotion and safeguarding of heritage.
