Introduction
This year's programme of the Fort Antoine Festival promises a wealth of discovery and emotion. True to its identity, the theatre remains at the heart of an ever-exceptional setting. The 2026 edition will celebrate the bridges between art forms — theatre, musical reading, literature — for beautiful artistic moments.
The festival will open with Dissonances Jeanne d'Arc. Born of improvisations, this creation blurs the boundaries between reality and fiction, between character and performer, to surprise and awaken curiosity.
A great name in literature will then be revisited with delicacy through the sunny voice of Vincent Fernandel. Accompanied on piano, he breathes new life into the words of Marcel Pagnol in an intimate and luminous dialogue.
With 8 Soirs par semaine, musical reading takes on a tone both melancholic and amusing, carried by Vincent Dedienne, Camille Chamoux and Léopoldine HH.
On the musical side, concerts will open multiple horizons, between journey and introspection. Thibault Cauvin, guitar virtuoso, will share his encounters through a musical narrative more personal than ever. Dominique Fils-Aimé will create a suspended atmosphere, imbued with nuance and sensitivity.
An iconic figure since the 1980s, Stephan Eicher continues to innovate alongside his long-time collaborator, drummer Osomo. Together, they experiment from the past and will take you towards the future, not without nostalgia. The festival will close with the lightness and talent of the sublime quartet A Bocca Chiusa and their Sans cible — a condensed expression of happiness and generosity.
The 4th edition of the Open Stage reaffirms the Principality's commitment to young people, offering emerging artists eager to share their passion a unique space for expression.

All the codes of a radio debate are found in this evening. Before the spectators, a broadcast set is meticulously recreated: a journalist and their guests are gathered around a major historical figure now subject to controversy, Joan of Arc.What was meant to be an exercise in intelligent entertainment takes on the appearance of a boxing match. A cartoonist, a priest, a mystic, a jurist, a rebellious director and a far-right journalist clash in a so-called "cultural" programme, recorded under live conditions.By bringing together genuine experts and actors, the show playfully toys with the spectator's frame of reference and blurs the boundaries between sincerity and parody. Alter Ego is a unique artistic experience. First a novel, then an album and now a tour, all telling fifteen fleeting encounters across the four corners of the planet that profoundly shaped Thibault Cauvin's life and transformed his way of seeing the world.Inspired by true stories, the narrative blends poetry, philosophical reflection and humanity through characters such as Carmen, Kaori, Constanza and Sabbir. Each composition bears the name of one of these people and draws inspiration from the cultures, emotions and dreamlike universe evoked in the book. Co-written with his brother Jordan, these unpublished pieces offer a free and modern vision of classical guitar.On stage, Thibault Cauvin presents a concert that is both intimate and spectacular, where music tells its story. A passionate storyteller, he shares his stories with humour and sensitivity, inviting the audience to travel, reflect and feel.Thibault Cauvin is a prodigy guitarist who, at 20, became the world's most decorated with 36 international awards. He has travelled to over 130 countries and performed nearly 1,500 concerts on the world's most prestigious stages, from London's Queen Elizabeth Hall to the Forbidden City in Beijing. Thibault Cauvin's discography is as eclectic as it is personal. Rising star of vocal jazz and recipient of two Juno Awards, Dominique Fils-Aimé is a Montreal-based singer-songwriter and composer who places fundamental importance on African-American musical culture within her work.On stage, she invites us to immerse ourselves in the roots of her soul to explore the unique yet interconnected journey of human beings.Whether performing in Toronto, Canada, in a double bill with Allison Russell, in Europe as opening act for Melody Gardot, Diana Krall and Ibrahim Maalouf, or in the United States with acclaimed performances in New York and Los Angeles, Dominique Fils-Aimé captivates audiences and takes them on a transcendent journey. Her latest album My World Is the Sun was released in February 2026.

Fort Antoine will vibrate to the sounds of a pioneering and unclassifiable artist. Known for his musical style that crosses the boundaries between rock, French song, electronic music and pop, Stephan Eicher is an accomplished singer, songwriter and musician.Over the decades, Stephan Eicher has continually reinvented himself, gradually moving away from his machines for the pleasure of playing with other musicians, exploring new artistic forms – including the show "Seul en scène" (Alone on Stage), directed by François Gremaud, which was hosted at Fort Antoine in 2023.Osomo, aka Simon Bauman, Swiss musician and producer whose compositions are distinguished by their electro-minimalist, precise and mesmerising textures, is discreet but formidable. He brings resolutely contemporary energy to everything he touches.A magnetic meeting between the two artists' worlds gave birth to the "Duo Dolce" project. It is with drum machines, vintage synthesizers and singular analogue effects drawn from Stephan Eicher's personal collection that the artists will set up on the Fort Antoine theatre stage, to share a hybrid, vibrant sound designed for the dancefloor.Not frozen nostalgia, but rather a retro-futuristic journey, between club and performance, where human interaction, pleasure and emotion are like an answer to an artificial world.

This summer, for one evening, Vincent Dedienne and Camille Chamoux, two essential figures of stage and cinema, will pause at Fort Antoine. There they will share with sincerity their doubts, their vulnerabilities, and their deep attachment to others, through confidences that are both intimate and generous. A musical reading that proves to be a true gem, blending refinement, humour and genuine artistic complicity.Camille Chamoux and Vincent Dedienne met on the set of The Flame by Jonathan Cohen and have not parted since. While they are each filming their respective solo shows, they realise they will both be touring in western France and will have 8 dates in 7 days.They then decide to begin a daily correspondence about this intense experience as solo performers, in which their melancholy, also a source of their humour, is shared and offers a true photograph of today's decentralised theatre landscape.To accompany this exchange, Vincent Dedienne invited a friend, singer and actress, Léopoldine HH, to join them to sing songs by Anne Sylvestre and provide musical accompaniment to the reading.Production and distribution: Théâtre de Lorient – National Drama Centre

With playful elegance and meticulous precision, "A Bocca Chiusa" does more than simply sing. This quartet reimagines the vocal stage and offers a unique moment where a cappella music is choreographed to immerse us in a new universe.Brought together by their passion for vocal polyphony, the four singers have been touring throughout France since 2015.
