In Strasbourg, the orchestra's musicians performed, before Mr. Alain Berset, Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Mr. Samuel Vuelta Simon, State Secretary for Justice of the Prince's Government, and numerous international delegations, several major works by Ludwig Van Beethoven.
The programme included Coriolan, followed by Romance No. 1 and Romance No. 2, before concluding with the celebrated Symphony No. 9. For this monumental work, the orchestra was accompanied by Soprano Mari Eriksmoen, Mezzo-Soprano Catriona Morison, Tenor Maximilian Schmitt, Baritone Johannes Weisser and the Choir of the Monte-Carlo Opera.
