Reopening of the Exotic Garden
The Monaco Exotic Garden will offer a preview opening, free of charge, reserved for Monegasque nationals and residents of the Principality on Sunday 29 March 2026. Throughout the day, workshops, guided tours and activities for all ages will be offered to visitors. This preview will allow this emblematic site, closed for nearly six years for major renovation works, to be rediscovered in a friendly and festive atmosphere.
The programme
Art Comes to the Exotic Garden
From 9:30 am and throughout the day, Monegasque artist Mr. OneTeas will lead Street Art workshops using stencils and eco-friendly spray paint. At 4:30 pm, the artwork "Exotic Garden 2026 Puzzle Reveal" will be unveiled to the public.
Guided Tours, Workshops and Treasure Hunt
Throughout the day, guided tours of the different sites of the Exotic Garden will be offered to discover the collections and behind-the-scenes of this unique botanical heritage. Gardeners will also lead workshops on the plant world (sowing, propagation, repotting). Finally, a treasure hunt will be organised in the Exotic Garden: each participant (from age 7) must solve riddles and will receive a certificate at the end of the game.
- Guided tours of the Botanical Centre: at 10:00 am, 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm
- Guided tours of the Exotic Garden: at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm
- Guided tours of the Observatory Cave: from 9:30 am, every 30 minutes
An Aerial Performance
Among the highlights of the day, an acrobatic and aerial performance by the Eklabul company, on the theme of flowers, will be presented from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm on the Exotic Garden plateau.
Each visitor will also be given a cactus with a pot in the colours of the Exotic Garden, as a souvenir of this special day.
The Exotic Garden will officially reopen to the public on Monday 30 March 2026, from 9:00 am.
