Introduction
I've decided to bid farewell to my beloved characters Maxo, Julot, and Guigui, my three little trouser sellers. My three heroes from an adventure full of memories. They are funny and moving. They are the imaginary version of my father's generation. Long before the Internet and everything else, they were wondering whether they would still be remembered in two or three generations' time.
Michel Boujenah joyfully revisits the timeless jokes of the Boutbouls, the three Jewish Tunisians who immigrated to France.
He bids a fond farewell to these characters, whom he created in 1984 and promised to revisit every twenty years by adapting the play, and he kept his word. The years have passed, but the themes of the integration of foreigners and the links with the younger generation remain relevant. A new favourite character has appeared: now it's time for you to discover who it is!
