2026-2027 season of the Monte-Carlo Opera
The Monte-Carlo Opera is unveiling its 2026/27 season, the fifth under the artistic direction of Cecilia Bartoli.
Introduction
From Carmen to Siegfried, from Porgy and Bess to Rigoletto, via Fidelio, L'Italiana in Algeri and La Vie parisienne, the 2026/27 season takes you on a journey blending great repertoire works with singular propositions, carried by some of today's greatest voices.
Running through these works are the great figures of thwarted love: stories in which hearts surge, collide and break, making opera the vibrant mirror of human passion.
