The Monte-Carlo Opera Unveils its 2026/27 Season
The new season is set to be an intense and poetic one, featuring major works from the repertoire.
The Monte-Carlo Opera is unveiling its 2026/27 season, the fifth under the artistic direction of Cecilia Bartoli
From Carmen to Siegfried, from Porgy and Bess to Rigoletto, via Fidelio, L'Italiana in Algeri and La Vie parisienne, the 2026/27 season takes you on a journey blending great repertoire works with singular propositions, carried by some of today's greatest voices.
Running through these works are the great figures of thwarted love: stories in which hearts surge, collide and break, making opera the vibrant mirror of human passion.
